YouTube Tests New Community Notes Feed in Mobile App
Just like many other social media apps, YouTube is constantly listening to user feedback and creating updates based on their feedback. One of the most recent updates they implemented, is a new community notes feature on their mobile app.
As many of you are aware, YouTube is known for being primarily a video upload platform, but many people have said they are looking for more ways to post on the app.
What is the Community Notes Feed?
Community posts can be all kinds of content including polls, quizzes, GIFs, text, images, and video. Community posts are created to allow users to connect with their audience outside of the normal video uploads on YouTube.
This feed will be located on the Home Tab on the mobile app. This feed will consist of post-only content from those creators you follow as well as posts you might like based on past interactions. This has the possibility of boosting engagement on YouTube in a great way.聽
Are You Eligible to Access The Community Tab?
You must enable access to advanced features through your account. There are 3 ways to gain access:
- Channel History
- Video Verification
- Valid ID
This access could take up to 48 hours to be granted.
