However, with recent backlash on low payments, this program will be discontinued starting December 16th, across the United States, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany, and be shifted over to the TikTok Creativity Program.

What Is TikTok Creator Fund?
After realizing that content creators are the ones that breathe life into this social media platform, TikTok has created a monetary fund for creators, so as to offer an income to those making videos. As TikTok themselves have announced, this can transform their creativity and hobbies into a professional career.
This $1 billion fund incentivized people to create content on their platform so that their users always have new videos to view.
TikTok Creator Fund Requirements
TikTok content creators can apply for funding through the Creator Fund and thus generate income from their posts. But for this, they must meet a few initial requirements.
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have over 10,000 followers
- Must have over 100,000 views in the last 30 days
- Must post original content regularly
- Must follow the rules of the TikTok Community
How to Join TikTok Creator Fund, Step-by-Step
Once you have been verified to access TikTok financing, it is really simple to join:
- Log in to your Profile.
- Click on the three dots at the top right.
- Click into Creator tools.
- Choose the Creator Fund option, and follow the on-screen instructions.
Once you have accessed this section, confirm that you are over 18, then read and accept the Terms and Conditions. Also, in order to be part of this program you must have a Personal TikTok account. After that, you should then fill in the following information:
- Full name
- Address
- If your income is active or passive
- Social security number
And that’s it. All that is left is for you to apply for funding through the TikTok Creator Fund.

It is possible that they do not accept your TikTok Creator Fund application even though you meet all the requirements. In this case, you can try to apply again after 30 days.
How Are TikTok Funds Calculated?
There is no exact formula to know the amount of money you will receive for a video. According to TikTok, this calculation is made based on the video’s views, video engagement, and if it complies with the community guidelines and terms of service.
I Have Activated TikTok Creator Fund: Now What?
Once you have activated the Creator Fund on your account, you will start to receive money in accordance with the views and interactions on your videos, for as long as you still meet the TikTok requirements.
You can withdraw the money you make, but beware! The minimum you can withdraw is $10.
If you want to withdraw your money, all you have to do is the following, and three days later you will see the money in your account:
- Sign in to your account and click on the three dots.
- Click on Creator tools.
- Press TikTok Creator Fund, and you will see all your rewards here.
TikTok Creator Fund Discontinuing
As mentioned at the beginning, this program will be discontinued in the United States, United Kingdom, France, and Germany. Those creators part of the Creator Fund will have the opportunity to switch over to the Creativity Program. Learn more about it here:
