Meta Continues to Add More Threads Features
When Threads initially launched, the excitement of a new app combined with the competition of Twitter gained Threads over 100 million sign-ups in a record amount of time. This made it to be the fastest-growing app of all time! In fact, it only took 102 hours for them to reach 100 million users.
There are now 120 Million users on Threads today. As you can see the app has definitely slowed down in growth. The new app excitement has dimmed exponentially and the initial hype is almost diminished. The growth of this app has slowed by almost 90%.

With the recent statistics and lull in the hype surrounding the app, Meta has created some new features to continue to growth and likability of Threads.
You Can Now View Your Liked Threads
Just like on TikTok and Twitter-X there is a place where all your liked content is held, Threads now also has a landing page where you can view all of your liked content.
Notification Control Options
They are now also implementing new notification control options where you can control:
- Reminders
- Product announcements
- Follow suggestions
